A Touch of Autumn

Sunday, 30 October 2016

One thing I look forward too most in Autumn is the colourful walks, a touch of Autumn is all it takes to make me feel warm and cosy. I really love being out in the woodlands, kicking through the leaves, listening to wildlife and just unwinding. I often bring along an oversized scarf, a flask of hot chocolate and lets not forget my camera. Its all extremely beautiful and tranquil.

Handmade with love ♥

Wednesday, 26 October 2016

I hope you're all having a lovely day!

Today is the 26th and that means it's time to feel completely loved up again.
As you may already know, on the 26th August last year 2015 Gareth and I got together :3
Now we always only celebrate that exact date every year, but on the 26th of every month we don't celebrate as such. However, we make it into an extra date night!
(we always have our date nights on Fridays every week!) So like going out somewhere, watch a movie or simply enjoying each others company,

This time I wanted to make a special handmade card, it isn't very good, but I kinda like it. I just love 3D cards they're a lot of fun to make!

We both have quite a collection of handmade goods that we have given to each other over the period of time. Things I will cherish forever.

1 Year Together ♥

Friday, 26 August 2016

Today was a happy , loved up day. Gareth and I celebrated one year together eepp,
I am so loved up right now!!

Our story officially began when we met face to face
at a university open day, he helped me find my way around, we got on so very well and chatted for a long time, it literally was love at the first sight, I remember thinking how handsome he is.

After many first dates, he met my parents.
He came over to help my parents sort out photos on the computer, it took hours! Anyway... the important part here is that they REALLY liked him! They both thought he was lovely and well mannered. We have been on so many adventures already, and they're always so enjoyable just because he is there by my side.
His looks, his touch, his kindness...everything to me is perfection, he showed me what love truly is. He is the prince I have been waiting for ever since I was a little girl, he treats me like his princess

(sorry if this is getting too cringey!)

So today to celebrate our first year as a couple Gareth had a few surprises planned!
As we got to his place he told me to close my eyes and he guided my through the door.
As I opened my eyes, I was in my extreme love- mode.
I ran and hugged him as he had placed 12 helium- filled balloons in total (you cant see them all) around the room, one for each day of the month (1 year).
With little felt hearts hanging down with attached flowers and glitter on them.

Gah! How did I get so lucky to have him?
His mother showed him how to sew and make the hearts, and he did the rest, its really sweet.

Much later he had another little surprise up his sleeve
He made a booking at the same restaurant we went too on our very first dinner date!

Everything was so romantic. I love him.

The food was so nice! I had a yummy salad dish and Gareth had the steak.
And of course there was a present and card exchange! Something else I can treasure in my memory box.

Gareth.. I am so glad I met you.
I can't imagine my life without you.

Thank you for everything you do for me and for always making me feel beautiful, safe, protected and for giving me a Disney fairy tale-like relationship.

He is so handsome

Minnies| We Couldn't Find It!

We tried to be heroes, we failed but Milo loved it!

Minnies | BathTime Month again!

Saturday, 20 August 2016

Welcome back to another Minnie!!
It was that time again that Belle & Bambi have their bath time. There usually is no set time as such as guinea pigs do very well in cleaning themselves. But every few months I like to dedicate some time to give them a bath particularly if they have visited the park or been outside quite a lot.

I use very shallow, lute warm water and place them on a flannel so that they don't slip around.
 I use 'Johnsons' shampoo,
They get towel dried as they don't seem to like the hairdryer but that's understandable, I think if i was that small I wouldn't like it either hehe.

Summer Picnic Time

Monday, 8 August 2016

Saturday was such a lovely treat! Literally!
We had a picnic day in the garden soaking in all the sunshine and I loved it!

We set out pastel (pink and white) honeycomb decorations, blankets and pillows and made everything look picture perfect- it was so much fun!

We had lots of 'picky' foods as I like to call it on sharing plates and sandwiches of different fillings neatly laid out on a petite, floral cupcake stand. Oh I do love a bit of ham & cucumber.

Oh my! Hehe, silly little monkeys also joined in on the fun. If they weren't in their outdoor hutch they were playing freely on the grass nibbling away and tomatoes, peppers and cucumber.

My squishy ♥ I really liked this photo I took of him :3

With a range of drinks and other nibbles and cakes, we were sure to finish almost everything! A day spent with my favourite person, and my guinea girls, of course.

Have you been on any summer picnic-parties yet? They're simply my favourite!

Ciao! xxx
